A Decade of Luxury Car Giveaways at Major Golf Tournaments.

Analysis into the last ten years of golf prize cars, conducted by Classic Ford Broncos, the builder of this years Schwab Cup prize.

To coincide with the 2023 Charles Schwab Cup Championship, Classic Ford Broncos have analysed the results of major golf tournaments, and the forty cars that have been won in ten years of major golf.

• This years Schwab prize, a 1973 Schwab Bronco, is the most valuable to ever be given away
• Since 2012, of the tournaments researched BMW are most generous, gifting one in every two prizes with a total of twenty cars worth $2,482,000
• In total, $5,372,000 worth of cars have been given away since 2012 across PGA tournaments
• The 17th hole is by far the most popular place to win, with twelve cars being awarded for a hole-in-one
• Two cars have been given away to the caddie, and two have been given away to charity
• The average value of a prize car is $131,024
• Of the forty cars given away, only ten have been won by women

Bryan Rood, owner and founder of Classic Ford Broncos said of the findings, “There’s nothing like the buzz of winning a car no matter how many you already own. Although I’ve got to say, the Bronco is in a different league to the cars in that list. They look, feel and drive in a way that can only be found in a Bronco, and are as much of a head turner as say a Porsche or Lamborghini.
